Purchase and fitting of Stoves Range Cooker, gold star service. We needed to replace a range cooker in a fitted kitchen and Maxwells sourced the model we wanted at a competitive price. We used the ‘measure first’ service they offered as this was going to be a tight fit and this was where Maxwells really provided a first class service. Steve came out to measure up and problem solve this tricky space for us with great patience -so we had the confidence to place the order. Maxwells team then disconnected the old range cooker and disposed of this, allowing us time to have the flooring replaced before fitting the new cooker. The care and attention to detail that Steve and Graham the fitters took to fit the new appliance was amazing, they made sure every shelf was fitted correctly and gave us starting off instructions before first use of the cooker. We really appreciated the fitting and disposal service provided, a charged for service but well worth it as the items weigh upwards of 124 kgs and new cookers are quite complicated. Ordering a large, expensive item like this you need to be sure it fits and you know how to use it. From start to finish, a gold standard service from our local store but a special mention to Steve and Graham for the superb fitting job today.

Quality products,well displayed around the shop. Good old fashioned service and advice, without being overly pushy. The two man delivery team could not have been more helpful / communication was good throughout. So pleased with our purchases. Will be back next time we need electricals. Highly recommend .

Fantastic company and my contact was with Paul Burton. I ordered a Roberts wifi 107 stream radio from them. they were so helpful as I always ask loads of questions and they even shipped it to me in France. they really put in the extra miles ( literally ) to get me what I wanted. The. package arrived as promised in great working order, I was very happy. I highly recommend anyone using them as I defiantly will in the future.

Found that Maxwells priced a stereo at the same price as most retailers, and was really keen to support the local shop / high street, so I asked the sales team if there was a small discount that they could offer to make the purchase there and then. They wouldn’t offer any discount. I left and managed to find the same product from another retailer who was happy to offer a small discount. In these financial times, even a few pounds makes a difference. Disappointed especially having bought products from them before. I won’t be returning.

Superb service: dishwasher ordered on Monday and delivered, fitted with old one removed on Wednesday with minimum fuss. Everyone was efficient and friendly. I had full confidence in them all. Highly recommended! I wouldn't now shop anywhere else.
