We travel almost an hour to go to Northallerton pool - it's the best around for families! Big Swim sessions are lots of fun, with the wave pool, flume and toddler activity area. Changing facilities are great too, though get busy at peak times.
Good communication..reasonably priced. Fun things for little ones…waves, water falls, etc…swimming lanes probably pretty good when not full of children…water temp good, changing rooms good, monitoring also good!!
A nice pool. It’s got fun fountains, slides and a wave machine so certainly makes it more interesting than most of the pools in this area. What I found let it down a bit though was it was very cold, no booking facility so it’s pot luck as to whether you can get in or not, once in queueing for a free cubicle and the floor was extremely dirty which was the biggest issue for me. Dirty, wet and very hairy.
They really should allow online booking for the pool. You have to wait in a huge queue and hope you get in so the corridor is clogged with kids and stressed out parents.
Great family pool. Friendly staff. Safe place. Love the open pool for all ages and all the features. My family enjoys this place every time. Personally, I enjoy the sauna and the big slide.
