Northumbria Coastal Trip was our 5th walking trip using the excellent organisational experience of Large Outdoors-an area I was keen to visit. Berwick on Tweed, a nice small town, was our base. First time with Premier Inn accommodation , right by the town walls & harbour, which suited us as equally as hostel/bunkhouse. Super (good weather helped) coastal walks inc Bamburgh-Seahouses & a special journey walking across the causeway as the tide went out to Lindisfarne on day two. Being able to get to Berwick by public transport (train) is a great feature on some of trips & we booked an extra night at the Inn to allow us to include a day in Edinburgh on the way home. Led by the knowledgeable & ever pleasant Gareth for this trip.

Fabulous walking holiday in Pembrokeshire lead by Martin. Comfortable lodge next to Freshwater West Beach for the week along with great food. I would recommend Large Outdoors for any UK based walking trips, whether travelling solo or with friends.

Of all my LO trips, Christmas in Eryri was by far my favourite. A kind and inclusive vibe in a beautiful location with excellent hospitality & hosting with a fine bunch of fellow walkers who also opted for a getaway Christmas. Loved every minute 😁

Excellent few days walking, hostel was amazing, very clean. Food was fantastic. Our walk leader was knowledgeable and I felt very safe. We had a wonderful time.

Just came back from my second Large Outdoors walking break. This time it was Norfolk. Fantastic bunkhouse, super walk leader and a great host. The weather was amazing and so was the company. If you like walking and want to meet some lovely like minded people - don’t hesitate- book!
