Malton & Old Malton Cricket Club

With several free little carparks dotted around the adjoining woods, this cricket club is picture perfect and settled right next to the natural springs, literally you could drink from the springs between innings they are so close, well maintained pitch with a good square and regular greensman work being done always great too visit!! 🌟

We used the room as a meeting place for a home educators group. It's a decent sized function room with a kitchen. The grounds are amazing and backs on to some lovely public woodland.

Nice clean facilities. Attended a first aid course there and the parking was good, kitchen facilities for tea and coffee. Overall a very good place for outside activities.

Good little club with community feel about whole set up. Coaches and staff are friendly, but alot of 'old yorkshire' faces around. Good for what it is...

Attended a Junior cricket match. I was really saddened by comments made by "Malton" to the other team. The children we ridiculed and the parents shouting from the sides was very disrespectful. Comments like " you have a duff player" and when Malton got a wicket an oldish man shouted " now thats what a wicket looks like, you need to get the bails off the stumps". Other awful comments constantly from parents. I felt sorry for the visiting team, who initially praised both teams performances, until eventually sitting quietly. Terrible attitudes displayed.
