Scarborough West Ayton Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite

Very large but well laid out caravan site, with plenty serviced pitches as well as the usual ones on hard standing or grass. Quite expensive, but that seems to be the way of things now! Handy for Scarborough, Filey, York, Whitby and other places. Great dog walk and huge kids play area as well as a large games room for wet weather days. Wardens are pleasant and friendly. Would stay here again if returning to the area.

The campsite is one of the best if not the best I’ve visited and surrounding area is beautiful. My only issue was the two separate occasions I had contact with the on-site team, which sadly tainted what could have been a fantastic break. My experience will stop me from booking here again, but if you like amazing views and surroundings with a touch of aggression from one particular individual then this is the place for you!

Fantastic site… our favourite yet! Lovely brand new toilet blocks (that never close for cleaning), beautifully kept site, great playground and lovely staff! Thank you for a wonderful few days!

What an amazing site everything was spotlessly clean. The couple that run it were so helpful they are running the site brilliant, having the breakfast/fish & chip van was an added bonus. Would recommend if visiting Scarborough

This site has been cleverly defined with well spaced pitches. It's very natural with well cut grass and hedges and tree lined perimeter. The toilet blocks are in two halves allowing them to remain open at all times with one side able to be cleaned and the other side operational. We were warmly welcomed into the site by Steven and Mary who explained where everything was and were extremely helpful. I would have no hesitation returning to West Ayton.
