On Monday morning 22nd December I phoned for an emergency appointment I was disgusted and very disappointed with your receptionists rudeness and attitude Have been a private patient with your practice for years and spent thousands ?your receptionist told me I could have an emergency appointment at 2pm but that would be £130 which as to be paid now Or an appointment in January she wanted £59 now When I said have never paid on phone I pay at desk on arrival she told me I couldn't have the appointment? Don't mind paying for your services but I feel this is a step 2 far been ripped off and basically told to find another practice then? I sought for NHS help line who got me an emergency appointment the next day Please give your staff customer service lessons 🙏 I got a lovely polite service of my dentist but I won't be returning to your practice
Taha Ajmal was extremely patient, kind and supportive throughout necessary and difficult extractions. He took on board and remembered that I am autistic, photosensitive, and have anxiety, and he took great care to ensure that I was well informed of and fully supported throughout my procedure. He made a necessary call to stop an infection from progressing further, and potentially making me seriously ill. I cannot recommend him more highly, in terms of both practice and sensitive patient care.
In my first appointment I was told I needed to come back for two fillings and a scale and polish (but one of the fillings might be root canal). I book this in and being over £300 I opt for the 3 month payment plan. I come back and am told I need a root canal and so my bill will be adjusted for one of the fillings to be a root canal. I ask at the end of this appointment if I’ll be getting my scale and polish and get told “not today”. My bill is now over £700 so I ask if I can change it to the 10 month plan and get told I can’t because the first 3 month one is already set up. I come back a 3rd time after 2 weeks of the most indescribable pain due to a nerve becoming inflamed in my face and my root canal procedure gets finished. I’m then told at my THIRD APPOINTMENT “your other tooth that we have done a filling in also might need a root canal.” I ask AGAIN if I’m getting my scale and polish done today and get told “not today” again. I have rang a day in advance to reschedule my next appointment as I’m feeling sick and don’t want to risk having to ring on the day and waste their appointment slot. I get through to an answer machine and ask them to ring me back to reschedule. Nobody rings so I call back again, to be told that they got my message and just cancelled my appointment??? When I said I need it to be rescheduled not cancelled they said I can’t reschedule it till over a month away. I ask will my scale and polish be finally done that day aswell and am told “there’s no record of a scale and polish” despite this being included in my bill??? I’m also told that my next appointment is marked down to be another root canal?? I was told the appointment was to check up on how my finished root canal was doing and to see IF I need another (something I would absolutely not be booking through them). On top of all of that, I have advised multiple times that I have severe anxiety and fear of the dentist and I have felt little to no humanity or compassion regarding this in my appointments. When I required an injection, I asked if it was going to hurt to be told “well it’s a needle.” Avoid this dentist like the plague, I wish I had seen all the other 1 star reviews before I booked. I can’t wait until I don’t have to deal with them ever again.
Not something I'd normally do. But ut the consultation & treatment I received frommy check up & hygiene appointment was a really good experience. Felt relaxed & not stressed as I usually do when I go. Thank you.
Excellent work, the lady that worked on my teeth Dina took her time to do the job properly unlike the usual rush job you get when you call 111 for an emergency appointment. There is more work to do but I am confident it will all be done to a high standard.
