What a beautifully restored pub... the attention to detail is wonderful and the feel of the place is fantastic. Staying upstairs later, the first ever people to sleep in that room! Definitely one to recommend.. The staff are very attentive and a must try!!
A great new addition to the Otley pub scene. Beautiful sympathetic renovation, retaining many original features of the Oldest tavern in Otley, including stone tiled roof, sash windows and a stunningly restored water well in the tiered beer garden. A good selection of lagers and ales including Timothy Taylors Landlord and Boltmaker, Saltaire Blonde, Staropramen, Madri, Cafferys, Coors and Guinness, priced competitively. There are TV screens inside and out showing all major sporting events. The bar is dog friendly and even has free 'Woof snax!' The venue doesn't serve food but has good selection of crisps and nuts. The venue also has seven newly renovated ensuite rooms, finished to the highest standard. This pub is well worth a visit.
Had a really nice visit here the other day. The pub has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere and feels comfortable without being too busy or loud. Staff were friendly and attentive, and service was quick. Good drinks selection with plenty of choice, and it’s the sort of place you can easily settle into for a couple of pints and a catch-up. A solid local pub and one I’d happily go back to.
What an amazing pub! Threw a surprise party for my partner and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Log fires on, played what ever playlist we wanted, let us set the pub up to have slow cookers on for food. Beer is great, the pub is done out to a very high standard. The thing that sets it apart is the staff, they are so attentive, helpful and all genuinely happy to be there! Been a few times before but will certainly be a regular.
First time at cross pipes this weekend. It’s a top quality space with such a comforting atmosphere. Log fires burning, nice lighting and a great selection of beverages. Honestly will be going again and look forward to being able to sit outside in the summer.
