Buon Apps River Lounge and Italian Restaurant

I came to this restaurant with my family and was totally blown away. The welcome from the beginning was warm and engaging, the help in choosing from the menu was brilliant and appropriate, the support offered for changing seating and making me comfortable was second to none. Then the food came - and it was even better! The dishes were a healthy portion, full of flavour and cooked perfectly. As a coffee lover, my dessert won me over when I was already very very happy! The coffee was so good I had to buy a bag to take home. My only issue was that I wanted everything from the new menu and I cannot wait to return again! A wonderful place to visit, to sit by the river with your coffee or to spend time with loved ones having amazing food. Highly recommended!

We recently visited Buon Apps River Lounge for a family birthday celebration, and it was an enjoyable experience from start to finish. Nestled beside the picturesque River Wharfe, the location alone makes this Italian gem worth a visit. The views from the restaurant add a relaxing, scenic backdrop to a memorable meal. The food was the real highlight. I opted for the calzone, which was generously filled and perfectly baked, with a beautifully crisp crust and rich, savoury filling. My wife chose the melanzane alla parmigiana — a classic aubergine dish — and it was wonderfully balanced, full of flavour, and authentically Italian. Our children happily devoured their margherita pizzas, which were fresh, simple, and delicious, just as they should be. Other members of our group enjoyed a range of pizzas and pastas, and everyone commented on the authenticity and quality of the ingredients. The menu offered a great selection for all tastes, and portion sizes were satisfying without being overwhelming. Buon Apps combines delicious Italian cuisine with a stunning riverside setting

By far our favourite restaurant in Otley. Beautiful riverside location and the veranda is always well heated and pretty with fairy lights. Menu is diverse with gluten free and veggie/vegan options. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Sometimes we’re waiting a little bit to pay the bill if it’s busy but otherwise can’t fault anything and the food is fantastic! ☺️ recommend starting with a sharing pizza, bread and olives with delicious olive oil.

Buon Apps is situated in a beautiful location next to the River Wharfe. The food we had was of a very high standard, and we were really impressed by the service. The restaurant has a great vibe about it and feels very authentic. Prices are slightly above average. There is a small section inside the main restaurant where you can buy genuine Italian chocolate and biscuits. Buon Apps comes highly recommended. There is ample car parking right next to the restaurant.

Love the location and the food is great too, I asked for a salad that wasn't on the menu and there was no problem... The chef delivered... Highly recommend 👌😊
