Always look for a chippy who cook with dripping, and happened to be going to Otley. A lot of places are shut on Sunday but so glad these were open. The food was fantastic. Me and my partner opted for a small fish each and shared a portion of chips and a fish cake (a proper one not the ones that resemble a beer mat) and there was still loads there (seen some complaints about portion size but maybe they value quantity of quality?) The lad that served was very friendly and polite. Would 100% go here again.
Portion sizes are ridiculously small, I asked for a fish butty and the fish didn’t even fill the bread!!! I asked for a splash of curry sauce on and got a huge tub full and to add insult to injury it was overcooked and greasy. Cost me £10, absolute daylight robbery
Great fish and chips shop in Otley. Had lunch in the restaurant and the service was excellent, really nice waitress who was very attentive, especially with our two boys. Haddock beautifully fresh and tasty. Highly recommend 👌
May have left a review before, but can't understate how good they are. Consistently good too. Honestly, my favourite fish n chips in the UK. Better than more famous ones like magpie or trencher's.
Ordered fish, chips and mushy peas I’m getting home. The fish was tiny if it had been any smaller it would have been a fish finger. The chips were undercooked and hard see pic. This place used to be the best around since changing hands it has gone downhill fast. The owner just seems to want to make money and doesn’t care about the quality of the food. What a shame should never have bought it as they obviously do not know a good food from bad and just want massive profits Never again. update May 2025 give this another chance oh boy I wish I hadn’t still as bad has to be the smallest fish in Yorkshire reading through the reviews. The new owner has never ever answered even one question or apologise for anything says it all
