Wow all the car parks with access to the local country side that were free are now chargeable! It started with the reservoir car parks and now this. I feel that access to fresh air and the countryside should not be turned into a cash cow for land owners and governments. Society should be encouraging exploring the countryside/ exercise and no be putting timescales and risk of penalties to simply walking your dog around the countryside. Ps. It doesn't take money/cash!!!!! So I couldn't stop if I wanted to.
Car park surface is in very poor condition with many potholes. The council should put up a notice to allow people to park free until a) they upgrade the surface, and b) they sort out the problem vandalism of the parking meter. You have to pay extra to pay by phone, which you can’t do because of poor internet connection. Crazy situation at the moment.
Totally disgusting having to pay for this carpark the parking surface is full of potholes and especially being in the middle of nowhere. I had brought my wife to do the parkrun and to find out the parking machines had been vandalised and told you have to mess about with this App rubbish to be able to park. So didn't bother with the Parkrun to my wife's disappointment. Mind you it's another example of this 3rd world country we live in. What really gets me is that great things like the parkruns that promote fitness and well-being you should not have to pay for the carpark on a weekend.
PARKING NOW CHARGED! What an absolute joke. The spaces to park the cars are full of pot holes, the forest is overgrowing and no signs of looking after it anyway, so now they're deciding to charge nature?!
Could do with being resurfaced (but then we’d likely have to pay for it). Calling it a car park is a stretch; it’s more like an extremely uneven, gravelly, giant pot hole.
