Would not give out pound coins. Instead I have to buy something using a £20 just to get different denominations of my own money. This amounts to little more than a tax for using coins. I was offered the opportunity to set up a business account...for a handful of coins. Beggars belief really. Local hub failing to serve the local community.

Incredibly helpful staff and service - us it or lose it! I bank with Halifax, and when I turned up on a Wednesday and saw Halifax was on Tuesdays I was disappointed - HOWEVER! Services are available for all banks are available every day - it’s just if you have queries around your account there is a room where you can turn up and speak to a representative from your bank. I was able to make a cash withdrawal larger than what an ATM would allow, all while chatting to the friendly staff.
