Got in touch with the Oliver on a Saturday evening when the shop had closed (via their website) and he responded the same night. The Sunday afternoon we spoke again (during closed hours again) more about the vehicle I wanted to view and some information about the vehicle I was exchanging On the Monday I requested to see the vehicle (Mercedes GLA) and I viewed it on Tuesday with Gerry (as Oliver went on holiday) and was shown the full 7 year service history, MOT certificates and much more. After the viewing I informed Gerry that I would like to part ex a vehicle and take the GLA, he had emailed me all the forms I needed to fill out and phoned me informing me prior to sending them of what each email entails, this made the process run smooth and easy I’ve had the GLA now for 5 days and I must say that it is the best decision I’ve made dealership and vehicle wise 100% recommend using Rayner smith when purchasing vehicles, it’s shows how good their customer service is when they speak to you during closed hours and keep you in the loop of everything going on 10/10 customer service.

I bought my Range Rover from Rainer Smith earlier this year and I can honestly say it’s been the best car-buying experience I’ve ever had. Oliver was helpful, attentive, and provided outstanding customer service from start to finish. Even after the sale, the aftercare has been exceptional – nothing is too much trouble. I’d highly recommend buying a car from Rainer Smith and would happily go back to them again in the future.

AVOID!!!! AVOID!!!! AVOID!!!! I purchased a 2 year old car on 19th Jan 2025 for £23,500 and it was sold to me with full service history and manufacturers warranty - this is completely untrue and because a late service the warranty is void!! The car broke down on 10th May 2025 and since this day, it has been a nightmare! We have dealt with Gerry who never returns calls and makes excuses for delays. The car has been with Rayner Smith now for 7 weeks and they continue to say they are waiting on parts and refuse to provide a refund. Whilst I appreciate parts may take a few weeks to be delivered as they are coming from Holland, 7 weeks is completely unacceptable. I have repeatedly asked for a courtesy car and been denied this. Therefore I am now over £5000 in lost wages due to not being able to work as I’m self employed. This has also caused significant strain on my mental health. I explained this to Gerry and his response was ‘I’m a sales man, I don’t deal with the social side’ - what a lovely guy! So, it’s now coming up to 8 weeks and I’m over £25,000 down and have no vehicle and there is no end in sight to this horrendous nightmare!! Please take your custom elsewhere as if you do buy from Rayner Smith and anything goes wrong, it will not be resolved! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! I placed a review on 30th June and this nightmare is still going on! We have been told today that the parts for our car are not available until 1st Aug and are still waiting for an end to this nightmare!! We have repeatedly asked for a full refund however, have been refused with the sales man Gerry stating ‘we have sold you a dog with flees, we won’t be able to sell it on’ Honestly, please save your money, time and sanity and shop elsewhere as this company are utterly horrendous, don’t care about what they are selling and just want to take your money!
