We contacted Otley Funeralcare after our beautiful Mum passed away. We knew immediately that we had made the right choice. From our first telephone conversation with Rob whose caring personality shone through. At our first meeting he guided us through every step and explained everything and listened to our needs putting us at ease. We were able to ring him with any concerns/worries we might have throughout. Sue in the office was so caring and understanding too. We cannot thank them enough for helping us make our Mum’s funeral just what we wanted.

From the first call, we knew these were the right people. Rob and Sue were very professional and made everything easy for my father to understand in this period when we had just lost my mother. They made the planning of my mums funeral simple and we were always kept informed. Rob was excellent throughout the whole process and it was a pleasure dealing with him. From the first call all the way through to the service Rob was there. I can't thank him enough in the way that he helped relax my father through this awful part of his life. It's one of the most difficult things, loosing a loved one. From the very first phone call, we knew that we were in the safest hands. Rob and Sue make a fantastic team, they handled everything with so much compassion, grace, professionalism and kindness, they made the planning of my dads funeral, simple, easy, and smooth & every interaction was a pleasure, even while we were in the midst of navigating our grief. The amount of care, diligence, and respect they showed my dad while he was in their care, and particularly on the day of the funeral, it was really way beyond measure, they even took the time to get to know my dad, and let everyone know about the wonderful man in their care, and there were so many other kind gestures and touches, they really go above and beyond. Fantastic service from Rob and Sue. Helped guide us through everything we needed with the perfect level of compassion and professionalism, including resolving some issues for us. Our situation was difficult with my mother passing away on the morning of my dads funeral, the compassion shown on that day was pitched perfectly.
