Sancta Bookshop Cafe

A nice chilled and relaxed space, especially for book lovers. The staff were helpful and friendly whilst accomodating our large group and the food was lovely thank you :) Had a Buddha bowl with halloumi, watermelon cooler and raspberry and took away white chocolate blondie!

I would travel all the way to #otley just to come to this? Not just a #bookshop. I first went for a #writing retreat and had a #blast. I had my #mooncards read and then had to write about it. I spent 3 hours #writing and I never write. Mark the owner is a #yogi, do I got to rest a little in his studio. It has such a #zen feeling to it. Mark loves #india and you can see that in his studio. He even plays a weird harmonica type of thing!! Anyway I have to watch what I’m doing in this shop. It is easy to spend £20. My favourite drink was his #chai, but I also like his #dahl and #tumericlatte! I also need to mention the lovely #Niamh and #Ben the flowerpot man! Did I say that they all say scone as in Gone, even # Mark who technically, might be a leprechaun, because… he is always in a rush and so popular with the ladies!! I wonder if my walker friends popped in today? Look for the colourful door to the right of the bus station and make sure you try his lemoncurd #icecream! Delish. Love Sancta. It is a beautiful, peaceful space to enjoy a coffee and relax. Food is excellent and service is brilliant. It is so tranquil and calming. The yoga space through the incredible door way is wonderful. Some gorgeous sessions here. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a coffee and chill in otley 😍

Warm, inviting, relaxing, cosy, comfortable café-bookstore with yoga studio. Beautifully decorated with a modern take on exotic old world charm. A vast array of colours and textures awaits, this is not just a café, it's an experience to savour like the delicious food prepared by the professional chef. Everything is so well presented and satisfying, and very reasonably priced. A visit is highly recommended.

Great coffee and tea, plus lots of sweet treats and a few select healthy meals (soups, Dal's, etc) perfect for a lunch stop.
