Greenholme Carpets and Flooring

It is rare to find high-quality knowledge and expertise combined with such a friendly relaxed atmosphere in retail today. Second time we have used Greenholme - Once for a whole house when we moved in 2013 and a few weeks ago after knocking some rooms around in a bit of a refurb. Brilliant range, competitively priced and great service from Chris and team. Mark and his son couldn't do enough to help when fitting and even vacuumed when they finished. Thoroughly recommended!

I can highly recommend Ryan (LVT Amtico) as he went above and beyond throughout the installation of our amtico hall flooring to ensure a first rate job was completed. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and he was an absolute pleasure to have in our home.

I highly recommend this company. I called in Saturday asking I thought the impossible but even though they were closed for bank holiday Monday I chose a carpet for lounge and hallway , they came and measured up on Tuesday, ordered the carpet and new underlay then proceeded to fit it on Wednesday. What more can I say but great job, great price and prompt, exceptional service and this includes the fitter too, he left everything spotless. A HUGE thank you to everyone I will definitely be back.

Used on 2 separate occasions and the first time was great, however the second was a terrible experience. The fitters that came did a shoddy job. In the master bedroom, there is a join in the carpet that is clearly visible, they've put a jointing strip in the space (not a doorway!) Between the bedroom and dressing room, despite us asking for a full carpet. We also have an oak staircase which was supposed to have a runner with stair rods. This was not communicated to the fitters and they jumped straight in and nailed the full carpet to our beautifully waxed staircase. The stair rods were sat there, ready and waiting to be fitted but it didn't occur to them and they went ahead anyway. They had to remove the carpet and my husband had to fill and wax the holes from the nails which are still visible. They returned the following week to re fit the runner and they didn't have the right tools and weren't sure how to fit the carpet rods so my husband did it for them. In addition to this, they didn't fit a door plate between the upstairs hallway and bathroom as they said the tiles were set too high so they couldn't do it so they had to send another carpet fitter to do it at a later date. Because of the above, we held £100 back from the fitters payment to cover the man hours to rectify the damage to the staircase which is think is more than reasonable. Overall, we are happy with the quality of the carpets but they fitting and the whole experience has been terrible and we will not be back.

Fantastic company, even whilst only nipping in to see what off cuts of carpet they had, they still gave 100% on their customer service. Great advice, great prices, and even a cup of tea... Very impressed! Will certainly be returning.
