Visited to pick up some supplies for my pets, was absolutely appalled at the conditions the animals are being kept in. The only animal that seemed happy was the budgie that had been let out in a full shop with people coming in and out. The shop assistant was snappy and rude and refused to answer my questions around the welfare of the animals. PS. A no photography rule is ridiculous when you're committing blatant animal abuse.

Love this pet shop. Great place for supplies for the garden birds. Good choice of feed at reasonable prices. Animals are well looked after and I love seeing Charlie having a little climb outside of his cage. Also love that the cheeky little local pigeons pop in for a feed now and again, it’s so cute 🥰 the staff are always chatty and friendly too. Love it

Service is always 10/10. I came in today and adopted 2 Texel Guinea pigs which Tom was extremely helpful with. I have previously adopted one of my hamsters from Petwise and the animals have always been in exceptional health and have been very tame. There is a great selection of products especially the dog department. They stock millet sprays in the bird section which I buy for my hamsters as they are a great form of enrichment. It would be great if they had some bits of signage informing new owners to things like this. My one and only gripe is a small one but like many pet stores they still stock exercise balls and cotton hamster bedding, as much as they are a great novelty for kids both can be extremely dangerous as they can trap their feet in the wheels and get cotton bedding caught round their limbs and neck which can lead to them chocking and loosing limbs. It would be great if they could take a step to stand out from the rest and perhaps stock things like pop up play pens and aspen shavings instead? Apart from that 5/5 Stars ⭐️

We had an african grey, budgie & a rabbit in to be looked after while we where on holiday, they seemed to come back very happy and well looked after! Staff are extremely friendly and will go above and beyond for you! Will definitely be using them again for pet sitting if needed.

Great place to shop for great value wildlife and pet food, and the staff are all so pleasant and friendly, plus my dog loves going in he always get fussed ...Have bought a few budgies in here but there a bit overpriced now, shame, good for bird food indoors and out and cat and dog toys and dog clothes etc.
