Snap Fitness Otley - Now Open!

Upon initially enquiring about the club, I had a few questions via email that seemed to not get a response. Whilst I can appreciate the busy times with launching a club, I find it bizarre how a message on Instagram gets responded to instantly instead. After me and my partner signed up, we decided to cancel due to finding another place we thought was better value. It took 3 emails to get a response from them. After which, the response back was rude and unprofessional, with no care for the consumer at all. Would reconsider joining the club if this is the service to be expected.

I could not be happier today when I went in to snap fitness. Honestly the most welcoming gym I have been in. The look and the feel is amazing. Well done to the, builders, staff and ownership for getting this ready for the community. I will be using the facilities daily and I love how everyone chats and communicates. Thank you

I signed up the hour memberships became available. I visited today to collect my access card and have a look around the gym. Adeel and Mia have done a great job in the selection of equipment. I was really happy to see things like the hex deadlift bar and landmine barbell there. They showcased some of the upcoming equipment on instagram including a barless squat machine and barbell thrust machine which I think will be excellent as the latter is uncomfortable to do the traditional way. We only had time today for a fleeting visit so I didn’t see whether they had the assisted lunge machine yet which is something else I look forward to. They’ve basically got equipment that makes leg day a much more interesting prospect. The rest of the equipment looks fairly typical for a gym; a good selection of dumbbells, various machines for assisted compound moves, and a good array of cardio equipment. The treadmills had massive screens on which you can apparently watch Netflix and YouTube on? I’m guessing you can link headphones. I’m looking forward to trying those. There’s a REALLY nice looking reformer pilates room. The aesthetic was incredibly calming and maybe one day I’ll try jumping on one of those alien (to me) reformer benches. I think the addition of this area along with the various ‘booty blasting’ areas will be popular with the female members, and guys looking for Ilya Rozanov bubble butt :P Additional features of the gym include BYO lock lockers, 5 (I think) shower rooms which looked really nice. There are changing rooms for those who are maybe a little shy or self conscious. There’s a recovery zone with a few massage guns too which is a nice touch. It’s clean, tidy, aesthetically so stylish looking (in line with Snap Fitness franchise’s look). There were a few staff members around to help people out. Everyone was engaged with people when I visited so didn’t get chance to meet them yet but I’ll be sure to, as I want some instruction on the new leg machines they have. The place has been put together with TLC and passion. It’s a great addition to Otley, located just across from the bus stop. I wish only success for the Snap team and can’t wait to frequent the place as my new fitness home.

Joined yesterday, on a month’s trial, and the family team couldn’t be more welcoming. There’s lots of equipment, great lighting, sauna and showers. Really looking forward to the reformer Pilates beds with console to be up and running and also see what classes there are to come.
