A magnificent memorial. It needs to be more accessible. Generally it is fenced off and can only be seen through heavy railings.

The Navvies Monument in Otley is a Grade 2 listed memorial to all the navvies who built the railways of the United Kingdom. The memorial is a replica of the north portal of the Bramhope Tunnel and records the names of 23 men who lost their lives during its construction. The monument is easily accessible. It is just off one of the main shopping streets in the center of Otley and is worth incorporating into a visit to the beautiful market Town.
