Clarion Lodge Campsite

Stayed at Clarion Lodge for two nights. Two of us in VW camper. Clarion is a lovely well kept site. Not in walking distance to town but perched up on a hill with amazing views Good points Well kept Clean facilities Washing up room with fridge and freezer Free WiFi Hot showers Friendly staff Self check in Site has security barrier Good views Bad points Toilet block not heated (Not nice November) Pitches are small (be aware) £25 per night Hook up charge £10 per night Pitches very close together Charges for having a dog £2per night Charges for awning £5 per night Under flight path to Leeds Bradford (quiet at night) Next to busy road (quiet at night) Overall we had a pleasant stay at Clarion, we both agreed that it’s a little too expensive compared to other site offerings. If you compare it with say a camper/caravan club site. Expensive for a out of season stay

I only stayed one night in my campervan. Site had everything I needed and was very well maintained. I did think the prices were a bit much compared to other sites. £25 for the pitch £10 for electric per night? and £5 for an awning. Lovely views. Just remember though it's close to Leeds and Bradford Airport

Great location, we tried both the cabin and bell tent and loved them. Good for families with young kids for sure. Staff really friendly and everything has a good vibe to it. The area is beautiful, too. Would highly recommend:)

What a great little place! I stayed here with a group of friends and we have had a wonderful time. A friendly host and lovely clean pods which were spacious enough for what we needed. Lovely picturesque walks, with good local pubs in the area and not too far from the centre. Always an uber available if you don’t fancy the walk back. Thanks for having us!

We recently spent a weekend at clarin lodge campsite and what a beautiful time we had! Our children, 5 & 2 have been begging for a camping trip, however been under equipped for camping we opted for the bell tent and was so pleased we did. The beds are so comfortable and cosy!! The site is lovely and clean, toilets and shower block spotless. There's a communal fridge on site which we were able to store our BBQ supplies in. The bell tent is situated on the top of the campsite which made it the perfect setting to watch the sun go down. We loved it and will definitely return. If you're unsure on camping, the bell tent is the prefect option for a luxury camping experience. Thank you to the host, Sally for checking in on us and making sure we had everything we needed!
