This is a nice little trail. Decent paths a little muddy but not too bad. Good for dogs and walkers. There’s a bit of a loop round that maybe takes 20 mins or so to get round. There’s a lot of bird feeding areas and plenty of birds to be seen. There’s other animals like frogs around that you may see in the summer. You can keep walking along the river from here for a longer walk if you prefer.
We visit gallows walk 3 to 4 times a week. Also take our grandson weekly. We love the cafe and he loves the play park. We were concerned to see giant hog weeds. I took photos of them. Dangerous to pets as well.
Amazing small nature reserve. Friendly and plenty of local residents regularly visiting. Good for short walks, dog walks and nature spotting. Listen out for the kingfishers.
Pleasant easy walk by the river. The walk round the woods where the nature area is from the car park is lovely and has an orchard and several wildlife ponds.
A really lovely birthday party experience that we were invited to. They children learnt so much and it was pleasantly surprising to find such a lovely place on our doorstep!
