I attended Soma for prenatal yoga and it was one of the best decisions I made during my pregnancy. The Soma community is unbelievably welcoming, lovely and nurturing. Georgie is an utter shining joy and light to be around. It was a fantastic space to express how the pregnancy was truly going, how I was feeling and to share the experience with other lovely mums/mums-to-be. I made some really wonderful friends and it made pregnancy that much more 'real' and 'lived' in the best way possible. The yoga sessions were really good for the soul and made me feel I was still getting some great stretches in...followed by some yum treats. I'm looking forward to postnatal classes soon. If you're thinking of yoga during pregnancy, don't hesitate to sign up to Soma.
Fantastic experience at the Sound Bath and Head Massage on Sunday afternoon. It was a really relaxing experience ahead of a week at work and provided an important reset. I left feeling ( and still do ) calm and reenergised. Have slept so well since this session too. Will definitely rebook
I've attended Soma for both prenatal and postnatal yoga. The classes are wonderful. The yoga is tailored to mums to be/new mums. Babies absolutely love the classes too. Georgie is fab with little ones; it's fun for everyone. Georgie always bakes delicious flapjacks to accompany a cuppa and a chat altogether at the end of a class. These classes were so important to me at those times, providing a friendly and supportive community of mums and an invaluable WhatsApp group which I continue to benefit from and contribute to even when I can't get to yoga. And the postnatal day retreats are also amazing. Totally recommend trying out the classes in the lead up to baby, and postnatally.
I originally joinen Soma for their wonderful prenatal and postnatal yoga groups. They offer a safe and calm environment for yoga, check-ins, teas and Georgie's flapjacks and so much more. Such a powerful and supportive community of mums and mums to be.
I attended the prenatal yoga classes at Soma with George leading up to the birth of my son and it was the best thing I did during my pregnancy. From the very first class, George was warm, welcoming and understanding, creating a lovely and supportive environment for all the expectant mothers. Her knowledge of prenatal yoga was evident in every session, as she guided us through poses that were both safe and beneficial for our changing bodies. What truly sets George apart is her personalised approach. She took the time to understand each mamas unique needs and tailored the class accordingly, ensuring everyone felt comfortable and supported, and always offering modifications for different levels of ability, health issues, and stages of pregnancy. Beyond the physical benefits, George's classes were a safe place for us all to share how we were feeling with people in a similar boat. She fostered a real sense of community among the mums to be who attended and the group discussions before and after class allowed us to share our experiences and connect with other mums-to-be, which was incredibly valuable. We laughed together and cried together and I have met friends for life through it. I highly recommend George's prenatal yoga classes to any mum-to-be looking to do something for themself during pregnancy and looking to meet other mums-to-be. Her expertise, kindness, and genuine care for each individual make her an amazing teacher, and her classes were such an important part of my pregnancy and later-on, my post-natal motherhood journey. Thank you for everything x
