This is a friendly and cosy locals' pub, serving Sam Smith's ales, which are perfectly drinkable despite being pasteurised keg beers. Imagine how nice they would be if the brewery were to embrace cask ales! The pub is well-loved by its regulars, but well-worn too, and overdue some refurbishment.

A true local pub, Part of the Sam Smiths brewery chain. Great drink and pub snack prices. Games - Pool/Darts/Cards/Domino's. A loverly friendly local pub atmosphere.
Lovely quiet little pub, had a pint of stout and several games of pool, landlady was very nice and made us welcome. Bit of a old man's pub but couldn't fault anything at all, she even suggested other pubs for food as they don't serve any.
