If you are in the area, plenty to see on quiet roads, including the Old Roman Road. You have the River Tees and Teesdale Way close by and plenty of pubs in small villages around and about.
Being named Dinsdale this is a very special place to me and my family. Hoping we've not been adopted at some point and our original name was Smith!!! 😁. If you blink you miss it. Don't think it's even big enough to be called a hamlet! With the Moated Dinsdale Manor, Over Dinsdale Hall and the Church it has some interesting buildings and plenty of history (Thanks Google).
