About Honeysuckle Cottage
Description
Honeysuckle Cottage is a self-catering cottage located in Oxenhope. It was originally the mistal for the adjoining farmhouse of Hardnaze Farm before recently being converted into a luxury cottage for two. Honeysuckle Cottage is situated in open countryside, just 2 miles from the village of Haworth, well known for its connections with the Bronte family. Haworth's steep main street, paved with stone setts is lined with historic buildings, inns, shops, galleries and cafes, leading down to the Worth Valley Steam Railway, famous as the location for 'The Railway Children.' The cottage retains all of its original character and has been converted to a high degree of luxury to include fantastic walks over moorland, straight from the door of the cottage. Only 5 miles away is the town of Hebden Bridge nestling in a steep-sided valley with many interesting shops, cafes and walks. Hardcastle Crags and historic National Trust woodland lies within easy walking distance of the town. Close by is the hilltop village of Heptonstall, with ancient buildings including an old Grammar School and ruined church. A little further away, the cities of Leeds and Bradford have Theatres, the National Media Museum , excellent nightlife and famously fantastic curries!
