We came to visit on Tuesday evening as we were staying in Curlew Cabin on a little getaway. When I called, staff were very accommodating and got us in straight away. Service was extremely quick and the food was absolutely delicious. A special mention to Nikki who was absolutely amazing. She is a true credit to the team!! Thank you so much for such a lovely time♥️
I booked a table for Christmas Eve and specified we would have two dogs with us. This was not noted and we were put in the snug as this was a dog friendly place. However, it was more of a storage area than a dining area. Food was fine when it finally arrived but we did feel forgotten about.
Came for a Sunday dinner, no reservation needed. Service good, friendly staff. Veggie options and catered to a Sunday roast. Food fairly average, little bit pricey for what it was, hi weve good portion size. Dog friendly too
Late booking on a sunny September Sunday afternoon and they were happy to accommodate. Had no idea what the quality of food would be like but we were all pleasantly surprised with the roast dinners. Real proper homecooked style food. The service was excellent and polite and we would definitely come back to eat here again next time we are in the area.
We visited twice this weekend for a drink and enjoyed the cosy atmosphere. On Sunday we were joined by friend and were made to feel very welcome despite having 3 wet labradors with us. A very kind lady who took our food order gave me some blue roll to make them a bit less soggy. They were flexible with the Sunday lunch menu too, allowing our friends to off piste and order soup and chips, which they said was delicious
