Got to taste the chocolate beforehand then the iced Philippines was fruity, punchy and refreshing. The service was friendly, charismatic and charming. Was a little busy with some dogs yapping at one point. But for a cute boutique in a quaint town it's spot on.
Started our day off by swinging by this lovely place. We were immediately greeted by kind staff, were offered samples to pick the best hot chocolate for us. We had to go back to get some more different yet wonderful hot chocolates to go with our dinner. Again the staff were so lovely, offered us a bag for some other items we carrying. Highly recommend visiting here!
We came here on our first day on holiday, it’s a Sunday and a little miserable outside, so we decided to try cocoa joes hot chocolate, the wonderful Olivia helped us find the perfect hot chocolate for each member of my family (the 4 of us) we picked a Venezuela and she suggested arriba for myself. I have a dairy intolerance and she was wonderful helping me pick, and where my mother decided not to get a hot chocolate she made a little extra so she didn’t miss out, I love that! So friendly and lovely, I can’t wait to come back already! :)
If I could give this place 10 stars I would! A few months ago me and my partner stopped by here by chance while visiting Pateley Bridge. We stopped by this weekend and it was just as good. The menu is overwhelming at first but staff are happy to talk you through every and any question you might have. The first time we came I got something off the “chocktail menu” which are combinations of chocolate/flavourings to pick from. I went for the rhubarb and rose hot chocolate which was amazing. This time round I went for the Ecuador with rose syrup which was equally as delicious. Honestly the combinations and offerings are endless here and while sat inside it was lovely to hear the staff members happily talking customers through the different chocolate and their flavour profiles etc. We chatted to the person on shift and it’s clear he’s passionate about his work and enjoys what he does too! Always a lovely experience coming here. If you ever decide to open a shop in Ripon we’ll be the first ones there. 🤩
Me and my boyfriend loved Cocoa Joe’s in York before it unfortunately closed so we decided to visit Cocoa Joe’s Harrogate branch on Friday and had nothing but incredible service. The man serving was very friendly and chatty and made us great hot chocolates - he was even kind enough to give us a generous discount on our items for travelling all the way from York! Lovely place with very welcoming staff, would recommend to anyone in the area
