Excellent fully refurbished and under new management, Indian Restuarant in Pateley Bridge. Very pleasant staff and delicious food had by all. My King Prawn Biryani was full of Large Prawns and flavoured rice with Vegetable curry and of good standard. Would highly recommend to anyone in the vicinity.
Couldn’t fault what we ordered, mutton dhansak and chicken tikka starter both really nice. Pakoras were freshly battered, little side salads seemed fresh. Poppadums crispy. Dhansak sauce was well balanced and not just a generic curry sauce with lentils added to it. Give it a try, we were pleasantly surprised, decent little curry house.
We were sceptical about coming here, having read some reviews on Google. However, the general experience we had was very pleasant. The food was good quality and the restaurant was nice and clean. Had a conversation with the waiter and found out it was a family business, and the chef was his uncle, who had owned the business 25 years. If you're looking for a cheap meal, though, skip the poppadoms, which cost a massive £11 for the dips included. Overall it was average priced. Our experience was pleasant.
Food was delicious and plenty to choose from as well as portion size. Made very welcome and the host helped describing the different options to us and every one that came in. I'm sure this restaurant will do really well having only been open a short time. We will definitely be back when in the area again.
The new owners have certainly turned this place around ,the food and service was amazing . Poppadom tray was excellent.I had a hot chicken dish and my partner had a prawn dish both full of flavours and very tasty. We will return on our next visit Thanks Geoff and Anne
