The waffles are stunning, the best I’ve ever had! We came over a year ago when we were in the area for the weekend and came back last weekend especially to get another waffle! 10/10🧇
Spotted this gem as we were driving through and had to stop after having a nosey at the menu. Pancake with apple cinnamon & rum and raisin ice cream 😋 plus a plain pancake and vanilla ice cream for our dogs to share 😁 Can’t wait to visit again already!
Cycling through, I asked a lady for a recommendation as a lunch stop, and as it was Pancake Day, she suggested The Pancake House. On arrival, both myself and my bike were greeted warmly, and although my bike had to stay outside, there was a bike size place the other side of my table by the window. I opted for the pot of tea, bowl of soup, and a lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon pancake. The soup is delicious, clearly home made, and a fortifying portion. My pancake was the best I have had in years. The team here, friendly and efficient. The owner is extremely passionate about his restaurant, rightly so. Life is about unique experiences and chance meetings. This is a supreme example of being out and about in the world, and enjoying being where your feet are.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit here today. Great food, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
A gem in the village ! We got the soup of the day meal which was a homemade potato and leak soup with bread on the side served with a teapot of tea followed by a lemon and cinnamon pancake. Staff were all welcoming and kind, real value for money. Would deffo recommend and come again !
