This bake house had signs up declaring their awesomeness, so it was only right to step in to see what they had! At the late hour of 4pm on a Wednesday, they still had a diverse range of temptations. We went for the Jaffa cake tiffin and peppermint tiffin and enjoyed them both. This bakehouse truly does know their stuff--even for nonbaked goods like tiffins!
The sandwich was actually very nice but wow, I have never seen it take so long to 'construct' each of our sandwiches. They must have taken 15 minutes each to lovingly place every individual strip of lettuce, slice of onion or tomato into the baguette one at a time.
We’ve only tried the date and walnut flapjack and the egg custard tarts so far but they were exceptional👍Still got the date square to go at (my favourite)😋
We bought buns and 2 cakes here to take home .We really appreciated a warm welcome in a traditional family bakery The produce is superb.
Awesome cakes and fantastic service. The only problem is too many delicious cakes to choose from. Although I can highly recommend the Baileys Slice.
