Charming little bookshop with a surprisingly large book selection. The kids' "secret" room is adorable with a little puzzle to solve. There are a lot of kids' games and collectibles pins as well. We bought a little of each. The staff were very kind and helpful; we left feeling like we'd experienced a lovely part of the town's culture.

I was initially interested in the pre-loved Legos but ended up purchasing my very first Warhammer set. The employee was very helpful. The store itself was also quite nice. I think that I found a hidden gem.

Though I live locally this was my first time in this shop and I absolutely loved it shop. Best place to visit in Pateley!! It is a hidden gem. If this was directly on the main road it would be packed, but because it’s set off the Highstreet by just a few meters it feels like a secret spot. The moment you go in you can tell the people who own it are super passionate about what they sell. Not only are the items sold of amazing quality and taste but the shop itself is enchanting. I didn’t intend to buy anything, instead i just wanted to visit the shop all my friends were raving about, but I just couldn’t resist, I left with a bunch of gifts. If you like game crusaders in Harrogate where they show you how to play games, you’ll definitely appreciate this place. The lady talked me through a number of games bless her. It’s a wonderful place and the owners should feel very blessed for what has been accomplished here!!

A great bookshop if you visit pateley i would recommend. good prices. this is always my go to bookshop. thanks paper people books. We picked up a great book for my son who suffers with anxiety it helped him so much

Really enjoyed browsing a thought out selection of books and games, catering for adults and children. Topped off by the friendly, chatty staff. Will return here soon.
