What a fantastic retreat for a relaxing break ! The lodge is modern and spacious with everything u could possibly need including a washing machine and dishwasher ! Wake up to fantastic views and little friends in the garden in the morning. Cannot rate this place high enough. Julie and Mick are also the most friendly and helpful people you are ever likely to meet - cannot do enough to help ! Duck pond on ur doorstep too Bridge Inn pub is literally a 5 min walk away so no need to drive Only criticism I could make is that WE didn’t stay long enough !!!!
Wonderful peaceful place to stay. The lodge is beautiful, and the views amazing front and back. Our dog loved the garden - I did too except it was raining constantly when we stayed recently. Would love to return in the summer. One note we were not aware of on booking is the steep drive upto the small complex.
We had a lovely week at Lumberjack Lodge. I cannot fault it. It was very well equipped in a beautiful setting, with the added bonus of the pub one minute away. The enclosed pretty garden was perfect for our small dog. I would thoroughly recommend it. We’ll be back.
What a wonderful place to spend a holiday. The cottage has been furnished to an extremely high standard. The garden is well kept and we spent hours just relaxing and watching the world go by. The Bridge pub situated five minutes away serve good food with friendly staff. Will be going again.thank you Julie and Mick.
Oh, what a relazing weekend we had at Lumberjack Lodge. Perfect location for us to cycle. The Lodge had everything we needed and more. Immaculately clean, we would not have known they had been a hairy dog in there before us, not a hair or smell of dog in sight. Tried to book for 2023 but was full, so I booked a full week for 2024. I can't wait. Thankyou Julie you went above and beyond.
