Booked the grand suite with the jacuzzi outside, the apartment itself was lovely. Could do with some touching up but potential to be a really nice place. We arrived Friday afternoon and went to get in the jacuzzi around 8 o'clock, to are surprise there was no water in it and the two hose pipes had been turned off. I found the isolation valves the next morning, the hot tap was broken and leaking outside so had to fill it with cold water. Unfortunately it didn't heat up until Sunday morning at that point we were leaving.

I’ll add photos at later date. Avoid like plague. You will complain on arrival. Whatever that issue may be this company will hold you accountable and keep your money!

Upon arrival everything appeared as it should it was not until further inspection this changed. Very bad gashes on the walls and door frames particularly upon entering the bathroom. The carpets were heavily stained in most of the rooms something which resembled animal pee in the master bedroom which I cleaned up. This just isn't acceptable, if pets are allowed then the floor should not be carpeted as this automatically gives it a grubby appearance. The skirting boards also had spillages and splash marks on it. I spent the first couple of days scrubbing everything down. Luckily, I'd brought my own cleaning products however, I didn't expect to be cleaning as soon as I arrived. No Christmas tree or special touches that you would expect for the price. I also don't understand the overall design of the lodge. It's as though they've tried to go with a modern look with a bit of quirkiness thrown in but it honestly does not work and actually dulls the place down. No hoover or mop provided, had to ask. Hot water practically non existent. Some of the radiators were not working. Washing machine flashing up with F15 someone was meant to be coming out after the 28th this never happened as my boyfriend manage to rectify it, for how long I don't know. Can't access live TV either so unless you've got a Netflix account you're pretty much screwed. No lights in the garden where the hot tub is, very dangerous when dark literally surprised nobody has had a serious accident. Filthy cushions which I ended up washing, hand prints on the windows and walls, general layout poorly made. Dirty used socks still in the drawers of the smaller bedroom. People's personal belongings also left behind under the wardrobe. An empty packet of remmies down the back of the sofa which I tried to get rid of but was unable to. Large dead bug in the bathroom, a few cobwebs here and there. Bottom of the shower glass in the bathroom literally disintegrating. No mastic sealant on the back door. Some light bulbs in the kitchen broken and miss matching. Wrapping paper stuffed down the armchair and also the same wrapping paper stuffed down the side of tiles in the utilty room and yet this is labelled as 'luxury'. The next guests will probably find it clean as I've literally blitzed the place over. I haven't relaxed at all and it was supposed to be a relaxing Christmas getaway. Such a shame the owners don't care enough about the building. All they have offered is a £100 voucher to return what a joke I have no intention to return I shall be taking the matter further. Let this be a warning to others. Good points: - Views of the surrounding area were lovely. - Beds were very comfy - The lady who knocked at the door (can't remember her name) but she was lovely and so was her son.

We stayed at the Grande Suite for two nights as a family of 4 and the added bonus here was the hot tub. The apartment was impeccably decorated. The lounge diner area was bright with the triple aspect of views across the green and the cute view of Pateley Bridge itself. A great space to sit and enjoy family time. The setting was in a beautiful village with quaint shops. Very much sleepy village vibes and plenty of walks and sights to see nearby. We travelled to Harrogate on one day and on the way back stopped by Brimham Rocks. At the end of the day we chilled in the lovely warm hot tub which was well positioned to be in no one’s view! We would have loved to have stayed for a couple of more nights to enjoy and explore the surrounding area further. I would whole heartedly recommend anyone to stay here you will be glad you did!!

We really enjoyed our stay in The Lodge at Nydsley Hall. The apartment was perfect for us. We loved the beautiful and bold decor and felt that the apartment was equipped with everything you could need on a break away. We particularly enjoyed relaxing in the Hot Tub after a day's hiking. We will definitely be back. Thanks to Team Maison Parfaite!
