We had a great long weekend in Pateley Bridge at the Old Courthouse. As a group of 5 single adults there was plenty of space and we were able to use the lovely kitchen a dining area to play boardgames, with the lounge to relax in on an evening to watch films. We had a walk on 2 of the days around the town. The local pubs we visited were warm and welcoming with great food. The range of pork pies at the butchers 2 minutes from the courthouse was a highlight. Would recommend to anyone wanting to get away and we'd definitely come again
We had a lovely 3 day break at The Old Courthouse. Lovely attention to detail and a very different layout which works really well. A big kitchen/diner area with plenty of seating. A lovely lounge and entrance hall to leave our wet shoes. A very quirky upstairs but very tastefully renovated. Would definitely stay again and so close to Pateley Bridge High Street.
The Old Courthouse is a home from home property,,very well equipped and all finished to a high standard. Lovely gifts of wine, coffee,biscuits and fresh farm eggs. Communication with Emma was excellent. The house is right in the centre,with easy on street parking. Lots of lovely walks on your doorstep. Will definitely return
The Old Courthouse was truly wonderful! We stayed for Christmas with our three young children from Sydney Australia, Emma had even set up a Christmas tree which really set the tone for Christmas morning and lunch. The house is everything and more the photos and description online show, the village and surrounding areas are simply stunning! We also had the best pork pie we have had from Kendalls Butchers across from Church street and the staff were lovely. Very highly recommend The Old Courthouse, Pateley Bridge and Yorkshire for anyone travelling we would be back tomorrow if we could!
Had a lovely 2 week stay here. The house is very well equipped and well situated for all the amenities of Pateley Bridge (for those ruled by their stomachs, you can find excellent hot chocolate, delicious pies, great coffee, pizza and tasty pancakes, all within a 3 minute walk!). There are plenty of lovely walks from the doorstep and lots more to do within a short drive. We particularly enjoyed walking with llamas, Fountains Abbey and tea at Betty's in Harrogate. Helpful owners not too far away and easily contactable. Thoroughly recommend.
