The BEST chippy in South Yorkshire by far. Everything is cooked to perfection, never too greasy and always served in generous portions. I’ve been countless times and it has never once disappointed. The little side café is just as delicious, offering the same great quality. The customer service is always warm and welcoming, which makes every visit a pleasure. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
I have visited this chippy on a number of times and have never been disappointed. They keep the traditional way cooking chips that make them taste like a chip, their curry sauce is also lovely and I have had a number of pies again never disappointed. The only small criticism would be the staff never really smile or have any small conversation with customers and with this being a local business for many years you think it would have a nice atmosphere. This aside I will still be frequenting here as the food is certainly worth going back for, so if you do fancy some traditional chippy food give it a try.

Really great tasting fish and chips! Fish has uniquely thin crispy batter that I've never tasted before. Shop has a little cafe around the back where you can sit down and relax instead of having to eat outside or take-away. Great value too.
