Service and chips were fine but the fish was absolutely horrible … old, chewy and to be honest should have been thrown away, not wrapped in batter and served to a customer, and a pensioner at that … £9.80 for fish and chips. As there are plenty more chippy’s around, we will be giving this one a miss. Very disappointed.
Excellent freshly cooked fish, freindly staff, only criticism is the chips are always undercooked. When they cook the chips more well done they are superb but it really is hit and miss if they will be undercooked or not which is a shame, please stop rushing and fry them a few minutes longer.
Went on a wednesday and got an amazing kids meal for £1! Lovely big fish for me as well plus really friendly staff
So I've not had Fish n chips for over a year! Moved to Penistone recently. Tried Bridge End Fisheries tonight, and these have topped all other faves. Delicious fish, didn't get chips. Took them up to Royd Moor for a windy picnic. Flippin'FishFantastic!
I have been on a couple of visits it is always good fish and chips. They are from Barnsley that run it as am I. We know our fish and chips.👍🙃🌈
