We popped in to Bake & Butty yesterday 15-10-25 to pick up some lunch. It's a very popular venue, but service was excellent & we didn't have to wait long. We chose 2 tiropita, a Manchester tart & a Bakewell (take away). We were impressed, the food was tasty and well presented. They have a good range of pies, rolls and sandwiches which appear to be reasonably priced. We will certainly be going back!!
I was feeling homesick for the kind of bakery you find on every French street corner, that bake their stuff in-house. I've looked everywhere around South Yorkshire and just couldn't find anything that didn't just sell cookies and brownies. I'm so happy I found this place at such a desperate time! Very friendly staff as well. I can tell this is gonna become my favourite spot in Penistone 😊
Delighted this has opened in Penistone. The spinach and feta, sundried tomato sourdough, and white bread cake have all been excellent. Love the traditional glass writing on the windows, too. Can’t wait to try the rest.
Great new addition to the high street! Lots of items look really good like the pie’s & quiches. We tried the hot roast porchetta sandwich, it was ok we didn’t like the bread cakes, not very generous on the pork and cold to eat. Happy to go back and try some of the other goods though.
Really lovely place with a cool interior and vibe. Staff really friendly! Breakfast sandwich was cold unfortunately but the cakes, bread and sausage Rolls look incredible so will definitely be going back to try those!
