All is GOOD

So incredibly disappointing, and we definitely won't be back. We arrived just after 3pm for coffee and cakes, and were informed at the counter that they were closing at 3.30. All Is Good's website states that coffee is served until 3.30, and the retail space remains open until 4pm. Google also shows that All Is Good is open until 4pm. We were told when ordering that we would have to have hot drinks in takeaway cups as the cafe was closing at 3.30. We were also served our cakes in paper bags. The space was incredibly cold for a December afternoon too - maybe they'd turned off the heating because (in case I hadn't mentioned it already) they close at 3.30! At 3.25, they began vacuuming the cafe and someone came over to tell us that they were closing at 3.30. (WE GET IT!). When staff plonked large black bags of the rubbish not far from our table, we felt that it was probably time to leave. Honestly the most unfriendly, unwelcoming experience I've had in some time. If you close at 3.30, that's totally cool - just update your website and Google listing to let people know, it's not complicated! Unless you're a masochist, I'd give this place a miss. Cafe-wise, Holme is so much nicer and has better coffee, nicer cakes and heating too. And friendly staff! All is not good at All Is Good.

Really disappointing, I pass this place almost daily and was intrigued to try it. Order a takeaway sourdough toastie and was presented with this when returning home. Se image.. I cannot comment on the dine in options. But I certainly won't be returning.

Deli, deli-cious. Cracking grub to fill your tum tum whilst you grab your refills on those household essentials. Why only 4/5 for atmosphere you ask? Well, although the full HD panoramic vista of Penistone roundabout and railway bridge is indeed whimsically delightful. It's Post Industrial North / Loweryesque appeal may not be for everyone.

Located in the heart of Penistone this coffee/craft/gift shop is perfect if you're just out in Penistone or out on your bike and need a coffee stop. The interior is nicely decorated and presented with a warm cosy atmosphere. The cakes and coffee are as good if not better than any you would find elsewhere and the staff are friendly with great service. Highly recommend 👌

Astonishingly good. We trooped in with our four dogs, and no eyelids were batted. Lovely, friendly staff and top quality food and drink. My new favourite café.
