I didn't expect this place to be so amazing, I noticed a few times the viaduct at a distance passing through on the road, and just had to check it out, if which was not dissapointing. Incredible picnic grounds surrounding the viaduct with a tranquil river with stunning scenery all around, take a ball, some games and if course a picnic
Lovely little park. Great views of Penistone viaduct. River full of trout with Kingfishers. The park is a flood plain for the river ...which is handy if you live next to it!
