Bay Horse Inn

It was very busy staff run off their feet very pleasant staff. It was 40’s weekend so very busy We were told 45 mins wait for food but actually came after 10 minutes. My husband loved the spam egg chips and beans. I had steak pie beautiful but far too big for me . Mash potatoes? Frozen and gloopy. Mushy peas ok good atmosphere as everyone dressed up etc but if went again would probably have hot roast beef sandwich

Very busy but accommodated us as a walk in. It was a Sunday, they had pork and beef on the menu for lunch. I eat neither so the chef very kindly cooked me chicken breast to go with my roast especially. It was all delicious. Plenty on your plate and plenty of gravy!! Dogs very welcome. Staff on all levels were were all lovely. Highly recommend.

Beautiful food and well kept bar and beer. Sandwiches are Devine and so fresh! I’d eaten 2 of the sandwich’s before I took a photo 🤣 Claire knows what she’s doing!

We arrived just as food service had finished. The bar man asked the chef and shortly we were served with delicious food and good beer. A lovely pub with a cosy feel and friendly staff.

Fantastic service after another pub down the road couldn't get us in. They went above and beyond to accommodate our young family and the food was excellent. Will definitely be back!
