Black Bull Inn

Just called in as other places around where closed. Wow what a happy chance call in it was. Food was absolutely fantastic. The mixed grill possibly the best I've ever had. Hats off to the chefs cooked perfectly. The pork chop was a fair size. And portions are good. Font of house staff are wonderful and friendly. Would highly recommend and will be returning at another time.

Not exactly a friendly welcome from male member of bar staff Told to move from a five seated area to a four seated table within 1 minutes of sitting...(only one other couple in the whole place) Brought us menus and returned withing four minutes for our order We ordered which was a challenge in itself as he was very mixed up. Food was very poor , bland in fact Not a nice experience Overpriced and kind of 1980s style food If you don't like dogs then stay away By the time we left it was full of them Dogs and food not a good combination 🤔🤔🤔🤔

Visited the Black bull last night, we hadn't booked a table but the lady managed to accommodate five of us. the service was excellent even though the pub was very busy. The food was superb, well cooked and presented, all plates had generous portions. Highly recommend the Black bull looking forward to our next visit.

It must be 32 years since my last visit here! Lovely, cosy pub a couple of miles outside Pickering. Good sized car park and gorgeous fire.

Lovely pub in a wonderful area. Liked the interior and is a proper pub. Food was amazing we all picked something different from the Menu and could not fault at all. Portions was generous and very tasty. Definitely value for money. Don't judge all the reviews off this pub as we could not fault it at all. Staff very friendly and helpful.
