Found this little gem while visiting pickering cannot believe we walked past this place everytime we visit. Called in was busy but had tables available. The young man who welcomed us in gave us yhe menus and took our order for drinks. The food was exceptional,my father enjoyed a all day breakfast my mum The burger and salad and I enjoyed the scrambled eggs, the eggs I have to say are the best farm fresh eggs I gave ever eaten. The food was so good we came back the following windy cold mo day for food again and was exactly as we were expecting hot fresh and a loblvely warm welcome. I definitely will be visiting again when staying with my parents in Scarborough and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a warm friendly and exceptional service .
Unassuming cafe next to a large car par. We both had all day breakfast and strong filter coffee very good loverly bacon and slabs of grannary toast,. Table servive loverly polite staff.
We went here for a late lunch. Breakfast is served all-day, with decent sized portions and good quality items. I had a quiche which was nice and included salad, homemade coleslaw and crisps. The cakes looked especially nice and are homemade at the bakery directly opposite. I didn't try one though. Lovely friendly staff. Prices came to around £10 a head with a drink.
Came on visit to Pickering, looking for a quiet place for lunch. We had sandwiches and salad, all very well presented and fresh. Coffee was excellent, and the staff friendly and efficient. Altogether an enjoyable experience, would highly recommend.
