Called in here for lunch on-route to Goathland. What a lovely, quirky little place, Had homemade butternut squash soup with a savoury (cheese, chilly, nachos, paprika) scone and smoked cheese, amazing, all washed down with a nice coffee. Staff were all so friendly and welcoming, just a lovely little café, definitely recommended.
We dropped in on Nosh needing a coffee and dog friendly venue - we were not disappointed. Despite the fact that it was fairly busy, we were given a genuine, friendly welcome and were quickly shown to a comfortable table which easily accommodated us and the dog. When we saw the menu we were disappointed that we'd had such a big breakfast as it looked lush. There were a least 2 good savoury choices for my vegan partner (parsnip and apple soup or chickpea 'tuna' sandwiches) as well as a good choice of homemade cakes. We settled on a scone (fruity, warm and fresh) and a slice of Yorkshire tea loaf with Wensleydale cheese. The tea loaf was particularly good with the hint of cinnamon judged to perfection. Our coffees were generous and had a rich flavour. The oat milk came at no extra cost. Best of all was the way we were looked after - the staff were all smiley and responsive - it is obviously as good a place to work at as it is to visit!
Visited on a Sunday during the very busy 40s weekend. Despite being rammed, our tea, coffee and sandwich was brought to the table in minutes. The home made fruit scone was incredible. Even better than the coffee shop in Haworth (you know the one). If you're in Pickering, and you love fruit scones, visit this absolute gem of a place, remember to thank the girl behind the counter that makes them!
Popped in for breakfast with my husband. Large pot of tea for two plus a sausage and egg muffin for me and a sausage, bacon and egg muffin for him with a side portion of hash browns. All excellent. Loved how the muffins were wrapped! Top quality and really friendly service. Will definitely return.
Visited here Friday and wow! Service was second to none, seated with no problem even though it was busy. We visited for breakfast, menu was very extensive. They have a wide variety of food that caters for a lot of dietary requirements. We ordered their veggie sausage, egg and cheese muffins and their bacon, egg and cheese muffin. You can “upgrade” to have tiny hash brown tots - they come in spicy, cheesy or plain. Super crispy and fluffy. The muffins were super tasty and flavourful. The amount of toppings you get is definitely worth the price you pay! If you’re in pickering definitely pop in and it’s so worth it.
