We were visiting Pickering for the Vintage Rally and decided to stop in the village for a bite to eat afterwards. We came across the lovely little cafe on the corner right beside the river. It has seating out front and back as well as a few tables inside. The staff were lovely and friendly, and we were served promptly. Unfortunately our food was well under par. The pie was a frozen pukka pie tasteless and hard, and the chips were undercooked, as were the peas. We left very unsatisfied and will not eat here again.
Lovely cooked breakfast at this cafe. 2 bacon, 2 sausages, 1 egg, beans, tomato, mushrooms and toast for £6.95. Loads of outside seating overlooking the river or in the rear garden with children's play area. Will definitely be a visitor again in the future
What a smashing little cafe. We happened across it and thought we'd go in before the rush and I'm so pleased we did. Fantastic value for money, service with a smile and lovely fresh cooked food, what more could you want. Take away tea and coffee £1. Literally, next door is a Costa, which cost a ridiculous amount. Dog friendly too, would highly recommend
Reasonable prices, great choices. Has a lovely garden at the back with play area and tables also at the front overlooking the river, the cheese toast didn't disappoint, very full of cheese. Can highly recommend the milkshakes, anything you fancy made into a shake
Lovely cafe and polite staff. Everyone's made welcome. Good prices we will definitely be going again
