Wonderful service! I needed flooring urgently and right at the end of the working day to allow Mum to come home from hospital. Dave was superb - “We only have time today either for you to pay or for us to deliver. We’ll deliver now and you can pop back in another day to pay.”

After using Pickering branch of Pocklington Carpets for the last 15 years, it was my first stop on moving house. The staff are professional and helpful with an excellent subject knowledge. 3 more rooms carpeted this week, thanks to Dave, Steve and Colin the fitter, great service from all. This is a great local carpet shop. We have had mattresses and carpets from them and we have experienced expert and friendly customer service each time we've used them. I particularly love the fact that David and his team will sell you a carpet which is suited to your needs and budget; there is no pressure on you to buy something more expensive. We have just bought a carpet for a rental property we own which bought and fitted with absolutely no problems and so quickly! Prior to that we haven't needed to use them since 2014 because the last carpets we bought from them have worn so well.. Even on the stairs, there is absolutely no sign of wear whatsoever and they clean beautifully if we have a spill - even a glass of red wine was no problem. These were not top range, top price carpets but a well priced product sold by a knowledgeable salesman who knew which carpets were the right ones for our needs. Won't go any where else now.
