Market Place

The Market Place street has lots of lovely, local shops. However, I visited on Mon 15/9/25, at 11am, specifically for the Monday market. There were 3 stalls: candles; vinyl records and a bakery stand. It's not really enough traders to be able to claim it's a market and they were all gone by lunchtime.

Gone downhill lots of shops shut , replaced by charity shops , use to have a big market , a few stalls only turn up now , same as war weekend

Great Monday market, fantastic Italian clothes stall near the top, the guy has a great range. The butcher at the top is very good as well as the pet shop.

Great traditional Market Square, plenty of shops, pub's and cafes also an open Church, well worth a visit

Excellent market with a good range of stalls. It's one we like to visit when in the area.
