My family have used Television House for many years and although we now live in York, still use them. Why? They have a good product range, are helpful, knowledgeable and offer a fantastic personal service. They’re also very nice people. Lovely to support a family run independent store. Thank you to the team.

These guys are brilliant and what an asset to the town. Always so very helpful and knowledgeable. The shop has a great range of both practical and useful household electrical products. It’s always a great pleasure to shop at this local shop. Looking at another review. You pay a little more because of the fantastic service and care you get here. Reasons to buy local versus national giants....You get genuine first class service....I'd a double nightmare...within 3 weeks of each other..I put my trust with the team at Pickering . I wasn't disappointed. 1st Washing machine went on blink...phoned x ordered new Hotpoint machine effortless and delivered and installed next day in the afternoon, no mess no fuss . 2nd Upright Freezer went on blink of course when full Christmas x New Year...this time phoned in the morning ....ordered and paid for new Bosch freezer....then came the surprise "Wow factor " within a few hours new freezer delivered and installed x old one removed....no mess, no fuss...reached -18C within few hours that same day. Problems sorted...thanks everyone at Television House. Just hoping the "3rd" appliance whatever it is goes on the blink it's just a toaster or kettle...as my £££ low. They include free delivery in the ticket prices displayed ...within 25 miles of Pickering...the giants normally CHARGE an additional £30 extra. Important when compared...Thanks again..Eric.
