A Perfect Last-Minute Escape! We booked a glamping pod very last minute and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The hosts were incredibly accommodating, and the site itself was peaceful, clean, and very family-friendly. Nestled in the countryside near Pickering and not far from Helmsley, the location offered stunning views and a real sense of calm. The pod was just the right size for our little family – myself, my husband, our two girls, and even the dog were all comfortably settled in. Everything was well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out. We loved the quiet atmosphere and would definitely return for a longer stay next time. A hidden gem for anyone looking to enjoy nature without giving up comfort!
Good campsite we were the only few people there
This is an awesome little site for anyone wanting to go back to basics; but have the luxury of having toilet/shower facilities.... The location is perfect; only a 20 minutes drive to get into Scarborough... About 10 minutes drive to a Spa which I believe is open 24/7 (All night garage). The on-site facilities are brilliant; Toilets are spotless; shower seemed decent; decent sized kitchen too; although; the kitchen only contains a double sink; no electronic equipments.... They are two plug sockets available if you bright your own kettle; or; you need to quickly charge a phone. The field itself was fabulous; away from main roads; it was pretty level.... Each "Pitch" is a decent distance away from each other; so if you don't want your neighbours too close; you don't have to. The staff (It's a working farm) seemed like decent people; we rarely interacted; as they left us to our own devices; although when we did interact; they were nothing but polite and welcoming. The views from the field were good; as it's in an elevated position; a clear day and you can literally see for miles; beautiful country side. All in all; I highly suggest this site to anyone wanting to go back to basics; pitch a tent up and have a break away from reality.
Lovely campsite with great views. The owners leave you alone to enjoy your stay. Walk in wet rooms and toilets are clean. Would recommend a stay here.
An idyllic and picturesque hidden gem on a lovely working farm. The shower and toilet facilities were cleaned and maintained daily to that of a 5 star standard. The owners were friendly and easy going; they left you to pitch up where you pleased but could be spotted around throughout our stay should we have needed anything. They were also nice and chatty in passing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will recommend to friends and family and 100% will stay again.
