Such a fantastic space to cater to all the needs of all ages. My son loved the bike track and my daughter really enjoyed the park. There's also a football field, and various green open areas. Public toilet too. The whole area is flat and very accessible to the disabled. Small free car park too. Every town could do with an area like this!
How lucky are the people of Pickering to have such a beautiful Community Park. We were visitors and we immediately found good size car parking spaces and an overflow car park for busier times. The toilets were clean and accessible as was the park itself, with the exception of a few instances of irresponsible dog owners! I would suggest a post with a poo bag machine and a couple of polite notices. Shame that really. It is lovely to walk your dog here, there are seats at intervals, and safe play places for children of various ages. There are large grass areas for picnics and there is also mobile coffee shop - lovely surprise ! On the whole it was well designed and used!
What a gem. Brilliant play park. Lots of parking. We were there with small kids but people were going of on bikes so imagine there is loads of open space.
Lovely playground and walking/cycling paths. Plenty of space for playing and picnics. We usually walk up through Pickering Castle Woods to get there. No toilet facilities atm.
Went to the park to walk the dog. Super park - caters for a variety of ages with a secure area for smaller children and a cycle area for older ones. Car parking looked plentiful although we walked there.
