Westgate Carr Farm

Beautiful and well maintained site. Pitches have ample room and most are fully serviced. Lovely walk around the dog walk which runs along the side of the river. The toilet and shower block is of a high standard and lovely and warm. This site is a credit to the owners who have thought of every thing to make your stay so enjoyable. The site is secure as a npr system is operational at the electric barrier to enter the site. Highly recommended for a peacefull and relaxing holiday or break from the daily grind back home. Will defonatley be returning. Thank you David for all the advice and help.

What a lovely upscale quiet and very friendly working farm campsite, local to the town of pickering with a lidl and bakeries and other shops nearby. I believe it is an adults only campsite, so ideal for romantic getaways, I can't fault it with anything, good pitches with water and electric, lovely clean and modern bathroom and showers, 4 star definitely earned. I would stay here again.

We enjoyed a lovely quiet stay. The site is very peaceful. The pitches were spacious with hedging to add an extra degree of privacy. The dog walking circuit was great with a nice stretch alongside a pleasant stream and then on past the inquisitive alpacas which were always nice to see. The toilet block and pot wash area was always immaculate. I would recommend this site to anyone seeking a peaceful and well run site.

This is the best caravan site we have stayed in so far, the facilities are amazing, so well kept. Excellent pitches, all fully serviced and spacious. Karen and Dave are so welcoming and made our stay so fabulous. Already booked for next year and will continue to return regularly. We had a problem with a leak in our caravan and Josh the owners Son ( a qualified caravan service engineer) promptly fixed it for us at a very reasonable price. Overall an amazing experience and highly recommended.

I didn't look at reviews for this site as I wanted somewhere near Pickering. What a delightful surprise. Communication was excellent from the moment I booked. All the positive comments about the nature/dog walk, alpacas, hosts I agree with. I have one detail to add and that is the efforts Dave and Karen have gone to to encourage wildlife, with ponds and bountiful hedgerows full of birds as well as a commitment to organic products. Just 😍
