High Farm Beadlam Rigg

Our favourite CL site. Peaceful location, great for cycling straight from the site. Near Helmsley which has every shop you need. Narrow road up but not busy so isn't an issue. Shower room is perfect after a day of cycling, very clean and only £1 for each use. Cannot fault this site and we'll definitely be back

owners welcoming, narrow road to the site , only 6 pitches therefore very quiet and peaceful, just one toilet and shower which are spotless !! quite exposed, but it is on the north Yorkshire moors!!!!!

Where do I start me & my husband have been staying here at The Bothy it's beautiful so clean & everything you need but the views are amazing & what a lovely holiday up on the farm Beautiful places to visit from here Ailsa is just so friendly made us very welcome loved meeting the cats & the pup too Highly recommend & will definitely be coming back to stay here again 👍 Going to miss the views once back home

If you’re looking for peace and quiet, High Farm, Beadlam Rigg CL is the place to be! Tucked away next to a working farm, the dark skies and lack of road noise create a wonderfully tranquil environment. It’s off the beaten track, yet close enough to Helmsley and Kirbymoorside, making it an ideal base for exploring North Yorkshire. The pitches are spacious, and the small brick building that houses the toilet and shower is a pleasant surprise. Modern, clean, and much bigger on the inside than it appears. However, keep in mind that the toilet and shower share the same space, so you might have to wait if it’s in use. Free Wi-Fi, good TV reception, and large grassy pitches are definite bonuses. At £24 a night, it’s great value, though be prepared to drop £1 into the honesty box for a shower. I’d recommend it and would likely return!

We have just returned from another week's holiday in the retreat caravan. This is our 2nd time here, and 3rd holiday and Beadlam Rigg, and we simply love it! Ailsa is a lovely host, and the caravan is always immaculate for your arrival, with all the little extras thought of. Really reasonably priced. Oh, and decemt free wifi! It's just a beautiful part of Yorkshire and feels so remote, up a one way farm track, seaming in the 'middle of nowhere', but also close to some great places...York, Whitby, Scarborough, the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, Knaresborough, Harrogate are all some of our trips out over the time. The nearest little villages are only 10 mins away. Thank you once again for a lovely stay, and Alfie is already plotting his next visit!
